Ryan Handbury
USL2 Head Coach
Ryan Handbury enters 2025 as the new USL League Two Head Coach for Kings Hammer FC. With over 15 years of coaching experience within the Kings Hammer network, Handbury brings extensive knowledge both as a player and a coach at high levels of amateur soccer.
His journey began with the Nottingham Forest FC youth academy in England before playing collegiate soccer at the University of Dayton, where he earned multiple accolades, including A-10 Conference First Team honors.
Handbury transitioned to coaching in 2011 with Kings Hammer Soccer Club, earning UEFA B and USSF B licenses while advancing through the club’s ranks to become Cincinnati North Director. He also served as an assistant coach for Kings Hammer FC from 2020-2023.
Tony Awor
USL2 Assistant Coach
Tony Awor returns for his fourth season as assistant coach for Kings Hammer FC Cincinnati. Awor, currently also serves as the head coach for Kings Hammer FC Cincinnati’s USL Academy team. As a youth player, Awor was a graduate of the Chelsea FC Academy in London. After playing professionally for one year with Brentford FC, Awor stepped into coaching.
Earning his UEFA B license, Awor has coached academy clubs at Chelsea, Queens Park Rangers (QPR) and Brentford. Following his move to the United States, he would coach at the collegiate level with Salem State University and spent time as Player Development Officer with the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer before moving to Cincinnati.
Louis Liberatore
USL2 Goalkeeper Coach
Liberatore has extensive club and college coaching experience, He also worked as an assistant goalkeeper coach for the Orlando Pride of the National Women’s Soccer League.
Liberatore coached at the collegiate level with Belmont, Northern Kentucky, Binghamton, Frostburg State, and his alma mater of Belmont Abbey.
