LEXINGTON, KY (June 24th, 2025) – The KHFC Cincinnati ladies are back on the road, this time to Lexington, KY, to take on Lexington SC at their home stadium. Both teams are motivated to pull out a win, so this will no doubt be a high-energy match up tonight.
At their last match this past weekend, KHFC Cincinnati’s USL W League team was able to put 7 goals on the board against Dayton Dutch Lions FC. That 3 pointer will be crucial to the road to the Playoffs this year. The KHFC Cincinnati ladies are feeling good at this point in the season, sitting at the top of the Valley Division with 20 points.
Earlier this season, the Lexington SC women made the trip up to Cincinnati and the match was intense. With a handful of returning players on both teams from last season and 3 points up for grabs, each came ready and determined to hit the back of the net. The match would end in a tie, 2-2. Both teams would receive a point, keeping KHFC’s undefeated streak alive.
Lexington SC is coming into today’s match on a high note, having just beaten Indy Eleven, currently ranked third in the Valley Division, by 4 points on Friday. Lexington was able to completely shut Indy out from scoring the entire match, and will no doubt attempt to do the same against KHFC Cincinnati at tonight’s match.
Due to the heat advisory, kickoff tonight has been pushed back to 8:00 p.m. Fans can support the ladies by traveling to the Lexington SC Athletic Complex. Those unable to travel can still show their support by watching the game via SportsEngine Play.
