SYMMES TOWNSHIP, OHIO (June 15th, 2025) – After extending their win streak to four, the red-hot Kings Hammer FC Cincinnati ladies remain at home and look to keep their lead at the top of the Valley Division in a Sunday night primetime match.
Following a dominant 2-0 win against Indy Eleven at home, the Lady Hammers look poised to continue their electric run. Their next opponent though is someone they aren’t very familiar with, despite the season being halfway over.
KHFC has not faced Lexington SC yet this season, and while these two may not have much history up to this point, things will change quickly as they prepare to face each other three times in just 13 days, including twice in four days to round out the season.
For this matchweek though, the goal for KHFC is clear: get a win to further the gap at the top of the Valley Division and, in doing so, march closer to the playoffs. While they have two games in hand against Racing Louisville FC, the KHFC ladies don’t want to give away any points and look more determined to keep a hold of the Valley Division crown every game
The first match against Lexington marks the start of a proverbial gauntlet of sorts, as not only will KHFC see Lexington three times, but they’ll also have two other games thrown in as well in that 13 day span.
If they want to keep the momentum, then the Lady Hammers will need all hands on deck for the final half of this season, but that shouldn’t be an issue as this KHFC team has seen a total of 25 different players take the field. That experience could be crucial down the stretch.
Another crucial piece for the ladies is the fans, who are encouraged to show their support at the Lindner Family Sports Complex at CHCA this Father’s Day. This game against Lexington is the penultimate home game for the ladies, so fans who haven’t had a chance to see them in person are running out of time.
